We survived that long, long March, where every day seemed to bring anything from a few flurries to a few inches of snow. Even though my belly's getting heavier, this weekend's hike felt so light without the winter coats, hats, and gloves.
I took the walk slow, bending down to investigate the mosses and lichens and little acorns beginning to sprout.
Cash didn't have time to slow down, there were chipmunk chirps to follow, birds to chase, and swampy puddles to wade through.
